Several 4th and 5th grade students have been chose to participate in the Robotics Team at Stone Mountain Elementary. They have been selected by our teachers for their skills in Math and Science. Robotics is a fun was for our students to incorporate math and science into their lives and a great way to encourage out of the box thinking! First Lego League’s mission is to show students of every age that science, technology, and problem-solving are not only fun and rewarding, but are proven paths to successful careers and a bright future for us all.

Robotics Team takes hard work and dedication. There will be meetings after school as well as training sessions and competitions on some weekends. Students will need transportation on days that Robotics meets as well as to and from competitions. I know that many of our parents work and being able to pick up students can be hard. I want to work with each of you to find a way for your child to participate in Robotics Team. I have attached a list of all students asked to join Robotics so that there is a possibility to carpool.
